You’ve been greeted by gift items, artificial flowers, home decorations, and maybe even pet supplies, but no flowers –they’re in that workroom out back that you’re not allowed in! Flowers are a major part of our business so we give them the prominence they deserve. Walk into Fairview Gardens and you’re greeted with a sumptuous palette of blossoms ready for you to hand-select from. Flowers from our own gardens and local sources (in season) and from around the world arrive several times a week (daily if needed) to ensure that we have the freshest selection and best varieties available. Our attention to freshness and quality assure that the bouquets we create will be enjoyed for a longer time by that special someone. We are often asked about the job of being a florist. Do we sell flowers, do we grow flowers, do we do the arranging, how about delivering? Well, yes to all of these. But if we really get to the essence of what a florist does…we convey feelings. Happiness, sorrow, caring, joy, pride, contriteness, lust, can all be expressed through the gift of flowers. Say It With Flowers was the long time slogan of FTD, and it still applies today. We don’t remember the card we received on our last birthday or the meal we were treated to after our big promotion, but we do remember the bouquet we received after our first dance recital. There is a specialness in giving and receiving flowers that stays with us long after the flowers are gone. Fairview Gardens is a full service florist creating and delivering ‘Garden Touch’ bouquets and plant gardens for every occasion.
